I have 2 of the small size that I bought for cats. One cat is 15 pounds and fits fine but you may want to go up one size for a jack Russell though I think he would fit the small. It says you can machine wash the cushion but I machine washed the whole thing and it did fine.

I bought this for my puppy when she was about 12-14 weeks old. I have hopes that when she matures a bit that she’ll use it as a plane to nap, but for now she has crazy fun in it and I’m definitely okay w that! My one wish is that the bottom of the tent was a little thicker material. I would (and probably will) buy again. :)

I bought this item based on all the amount of info provided by the manufacturer. It's all totally accurate. Bought the X-Large in Tan for my 6 month kitten. My decision was made based on giving her more room as she keeps growing. And also for her to be able to sleep stretched out all the way if she wanted to do so (and she does). This is the only bed she has accepted, had to return 2 different ones. Besides looking good, it's really plush, super soft, comfortable, AND it really does not fall down like other cat & puppy tent houses do.

I'm posting detailed pics of: the exterior, interior, seams, pillow, material & thickness hoping they can help you in your buying decision. There's my happy kitten!

She took to it right away—these photos were taken two minutes apart, with the first one taken about a minute after I set it up for her. One warning to pass on, though, is that this is the extra large and she is only 16 pounds, so definitely consider the size of your dog when deciding if this would be a good purchase for you.
